Downloading and Installing MetaMask

MetaMask can be downloaded as a browser extension on any compatible browser.

The links to download MetaMask can be found here for Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, and Edge Add-ons.

MetaMask is also compatible with Brave browser.

MetaMask can also be installed on Android, and iOS.

Creating an Account

Once MetaMask has been downloaded and installed, you may proceed to create an account.

The steps to create an account are outlined below:

  1. Click on the "Create a Wallet" button.

  2. Create a password. This will be used when logging in to MetaMask in the same browser.

  3. View your secret seed phrase and write it down on a secure location.

  4. Select each phrase in order and click "Confirm".

Your seed phrase will be used if you want to import your wallet to a fresh MetaMask install on a different browser and/or device.

Never give your seed phrase out to anyone. This can be used similar to your password to access your account.

MetaBurst developers and moderators will never ask for your seed phrase and password.

Connecting to the Arbitrum Blockchain

To connect to the Arbitrum Blockchain, you'll need to add it to your MetaMask wallet. By default, MetaMask is set to the Ethereum Mainnet. One way to add Arbitrum to your wallet is by using Chainlist.org. Follow the steps below to do this easily:

  1. Go to https://chainlist.org/ and click 'Connect Wallet'.

  2. Upon notification from your wallet, click 'Approve'.

  3. Locate Arbitrum One and click 'Add to metamask'.

  4. Upon notification from your wallet, click 'Approve'.

  5. In the following popup, click 'Switch network'. You can now use the Arbitrum network.

If you prefer not to use the Chainlist website, you can manually add Arbitrum to your wallet by opening MetaMask and selecting the network dropdown menu. Then click 'Add Network' and enter the following details:
